We held a very special edition of Prospects after Dark on Wednesday, May 16th, 2017. In an attempt to raise money for ALS research in the name of the Piscotty family after the tragic passing of Gretchen Piscotty, we held a fundraiser with some great prizes!
But before we get to the winners, we have to take one more second to thank some people for the contributions. First, this entire endeavor was the brain child of @STLMattinals. He really "manned-up" with this.
The first group of people that @STLMattinals reached out to were Daniel Shoptaw (maybe better known as @C70), Cardinalsgifs and CrashSTL. All of these folks came together to organize this and make it happen.
However, none of this would have happened if not for the people that generously donate to the raffle. More importantly, thank you to all that donated. We had a tremendous turn out. It's amazing to see Cardinals Nation consistently turn out to help those in need. We might whine and complain about lineups and bullpen management, but we will make all of the sacrifices we can to support those in need. For every $5 that a person donated they received an entry into the raffle. We had multiple winners and people who won multiple prizes. It was a blast!
