Scenes from a Stephen Piscotty home run

Another former Cardinal returns to Busch Stadium tonight for what I presume will be a very nice reception. Although this one won't quite reverberate around the baseball world like the Albert Pujols return from this past weekend - and honestly, what could? - Stephen Piscotty was one of my favorite Cardinals during his brief time with the club, and I'm excited to see him get his turn in the spotlight in front of his old teammates and fans.

Piscotty collected some big hits as a Cardinal, including on August 16, 2016, when he hit a three-run homer in the top of the 8th at Wrigley Field to give the good guys a 4-3 lead. The Cardinals would go on to win that game 6-4.

Here are the major cast members from that home run.

(Makes sense.)

Cubs guy 2

Cubs guy 3

Here is the cast doing a dramatic performance of that home run.

And scene. That's the only scene.

Let's do a curtain call.

Bravo!

Welcome back, Stephen. We've missed you.
