The sleep walking St. Louis Cardinals lost again. Which isn’t surprising when you play like you’re stuck in a nightmare.
When I was a kid, I’d sleep walk often. And it was frustrating because I wasn’t awake enough to change the thing I was upset by, but I wasn’t asleep enough to ignore it.
Seems like an apropos description of the Cardinals right now.
The starting rotation is a mess, the hitters aren’t hitting, and Kolten Wong’s face says it all. And no one seems to know now to fix it.
