Tara was running the account tonight, looking to ward off any evil spirits that she may bring when she, I dunno, watches a game? I doubt she reads the recaps, its all good. She's bad luck (if she is reading, LOVE YOU TARA!!!!!!). She once got @'d by the cardinals account for being bad luck. Don't believe me, ask the dishes.
This is not important in the grand scheme of things.
What is important is how Austin Gomber pitched in his MLB debut as a starter.
Let's just say... he was on fire? Carrying a no hitter into the 8th inning, striking out 6 along the way.
Okay maybe he himself was not on fire but a weird turn of events took place in GABP. As Gomber was warming up in the 7th, no hitter intact, the fire alarm was pulled... "malfunctioned".
Conspiracies started to rise.
Never to worry, Marcell "Swags" (whats up stew!) Ozuna played it cool as there was not an actual fire.
Unfortunately 3 batters later the game was tied 2-2.
